The right to keep and bear chariots

The right to keep and bear chariots is an inherent civil right and human right. It's true that chariots today (cars) are much faster, and more deadly than chariots ever have been before (tens of thousands of Americans die in chariot related deaths each year, over 30,000 this last year), and it's true that the very first people who acknowledged this right, by not infringing it, never could imagine just how fast, and deadly, that chariots would become in the Space Age, but we do possess the RKBC---it is an inherent, not created, human right, and civil right.

So how does one obtain a chariot?

Well, there's no background check required for procuring one. So long as you have the money, and someone who's selling one, you can obtain one.
That doesn't mean you can, or even know how to, use it.

Actually, people have the right to own property (because God said "thou shall not steal").

People also have the right to use infrastructure, such as roads and public transportation. However the Government defines how they can use it.

The Bible teaches that the government does not have the right to restrict persons from using infrastructure. Therefore, things like toll roads and purchasing tickets for public bus and public train systems is inherently wrong. It's basically theft.

The qualification should be on the driver's license. Democraps want a big bureaucracy to say if someone can't have. I think there should be psychological testing involved, and then it should be on the license.

Temperamental law-abiding citizens are still dangerous.

This is just a lame attempt at satire of advocates for gun control . True, thousands of people die every year in car accidents, but cars are absolutely essential for transportation . Guns are not essential for most people .
We do have laws regulating cars for safety , and nobody complains about having to have a driver's license . If we didn't, rates of car accidents would be much, much higher than they are .
So why do people complain about laws regulating guns for safety ? Gin control is not gun confiscation . Driver's licenses aren't automobile confiscation .

One should note that it's not a right to operate a motor vehicle. It's privilege extended to those who meet certain requirements. On the other hand, we do have a right to bear arms.

It's not an unlimited right, however.

I agree with your reasoning. Inherent rights are a matter of faith IMO, and yours is a good reason for that faith.

I don't know about that, because I believe that we the people, who collectively own and maintain infrastructure, can determine laws governing its use. Tolls help focus the cost of maintaining roads to those who actually use them, instead of just having everybody pay equally for their upkeep. :idunno:

Tens of thousands, and that's just in America.
, but cars are absolutely essential for transportation
'Ever heard of legs?

Neither are chariots.

Hard to believe, that even with all this attention to safety training and certification and licensing, that there are still tens of thousands of accidental chariot fatalities. I seriously doubt this problem existed before the motor chariot was invented.
So why do people complain about laws regulating guns for safety ?
"Shall not be infringed" is my first guess.
Gin control is not gun confiscation .
Neither is gin confiscation gun control. Although . . . .
Driver's licenses aren't automobile confiscation .
Thanks for clearing that up.

We don't have a right to run over people in a chariot.
