There is no "abortion industry ". This ridiculous term makes it sound as though Planned Parenthood is trying to force as many women as possible to supposedly "make a profit ", which is does not .
An abortion industry existed in America before Roe v Wade.
It consisted of back-alley abortionists who were incompetent and unclean and caused the deaths of who knows how many poor pregnant women through botched illegal abortions . This abortion industry will return if abortion ever becomes illegal again .
Roe v Wade was not the beginning of abortion in America . It was the end of women dying from abortions .

And yes, abortion does not constitute the majority of what Planned Parenthood actually does. If there was greater access to birth control there'd be fewer abortions but the priority evangelicals seem to have is restricting sex, not pregnancies. The results speak for themselves.
