Jesus declares, "...behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it..." Rev 3:8.
This door opens into the holy of holies where Jesus, our High Priest, is now ministering. The temple in heaven has two compartments just like the earthly tabernacle which was a copy. In the typical service the high priest went in once a year, during the day of atonement, into the holy of holies to cleanse it. Jesus has now gone into the holy of holies and is cleansing it by examining the sins of His people which are recorded in heaven. He alluded to this work in Matt 22:11 when He said, "And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment..."
John further says, "And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament..." Rev 11:19. The faith of God's people is now gone into the inner chamber where the ark having the 10 commandments is. They keep all the commandments written there while those professing believers who are denying the binding claims of the Decalogue are trying to shut the door but they cannot for Jesus has declared, "No man can shut it."
