I can't speak for the French people, as the immigration situation is very different there. But who in America is generally taking away freedoms? Is it the immigrants that want to push 63 gender nonsense?

A good Conservative candidate, Francois Fillon, was eliminated. If it wasn't for the rise of Le Pen he probably would have made it to the runoff.
