Sen. Raphael Warnock, a self-proclaimed “pro-choice pastor,” recently supported legislation to force states to allow unborn babies to be aborted for basically any reason up to birth.
That makes him a “wolf in sheep’s clothing,” a “false prophet,” David Closson of the Family Research Council, wrote this week at The Christian Post.
“… a ‘pro-choice pastor’ is an oxymoron, a contradiction in terms,” Closson wrote.
Warnock, a Georgia Democrat, is the senior pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta. Elected in 2020, the senator touts himself as a “pro-choice pastor” and has a 100-percent pro-abortion voting record, according to the National Right to Life Committee.
Most recently, he co-sponsored a bill nicknamed the Abortion Without Limits Up to Birth Act, which would have forced states to legalize abortions without limits and forced taxpayers to pay for them. The Senate rejected the bill in February with all Republicans and one Democrat voting against it.
