He died for us

the bride is the Church
more confusion?
Die to 'what" is my question to you that Jesus performed in both body and spirit because of its tremendous value to His Father?
The Spirit of Christ is life and cannot die
Jesus died "in the flesh only" and when that happened was at the time He surrendered His Spirit to His Father.
Jesus died to self in no less a way than physical death. He dealt with vanity as any man conceived in sin. Think on it before you argue back. Think about the scriptures you profess to know.
When the Spirit left Jesus He died but the Spirit never dies
The Bible agrees with me
James 2:26 KJV For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
Eccl 12:7 KJV Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
So be it but, you are mishandling those scriptures you want to make fit your opinion.

Eccl 12:7 KJV Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
You use both verses out of context.
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
This is speaking of things as were before God created man.
It is not speaking of what happens when men die.

I am not mishandling anything and the Lord rebuke you for saying so
Unless you want to make God out to be a liar by suggesting those verses do not mean what they say, you had better learn something here while you still can !
Fair enough?
Indeed, it is very muchs speaking of when a person dies.
How come you missed that?
Didn't miss anything but it doesn't matter.
Ecc 3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity.
Ecc 3:20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.
Ecc 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?
Job 34:14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;
Job 34:15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall turn again unto dust.

There is no verse anywhere in the Bible that supports leaving verses in context but instead teaches just the opposite on how to remove verses from the context they appear in and put them together line upon line and precept (law) upon precept. More on this at the end
Verse 6 right above it is speaking of when bowls and earthen vessels are broken. We are "jars of clay, water pots of stone, golden vessels etc. etc (depending on our standing) being kept alive through knowledge from above (silver chords) continually being referred to as the work of the potter. when these eathen vessels break is when people die (plural when used as in cities being destroyed).
First here are a couple of verses to help you see how we are the bowls
2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us
Isaiah 64:8 But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
BTW, the spirit returning to God of the spirit and soul within us when a person dies is something you had better get right if you ever hope to understand the truth of the resurrection and eternal judgement
Now see for yourself
Ecc. 6 Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
As far as the words of James, he agrees that when the spirit is gone from the body the body is dead
James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
As far as how to learn knowledge the way God teaches it and the apostles taught it, read the following link, but don't be like the two TOL idiots who wrote 5 pages of negative posts but never read the OP
BTW, originally, you made the only post/reply that was on the right track.
Mastering this is the difference between those who only make it to Pentecost versus those who become the wise virgins of Tabernacles who go into the wedding
