Shipping has just reopened on the St Lawrence seaway up here in Northern New York as the critical locks between Massena and Montreal and then the Welland canal system have awakened from their winter slumber. And as always the ships that have sat idle for the winter are running and discovering systems failures. The ones that get the most attention are the ones that cause fires or loss of hydraulic steering. It's so common as to not attract much attention.
