What Switzerland has said is lack of data equals no vaccine approval. Once again a country is banning a vaccine because of the lack of information given out by big pharma.

Why didn't Switzerland approve the Oxford/AstraZeneca jab?

SWITZERLAND has rejected the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine, as health authorities today announced they could not approve the jab, made in tandem with Oxford University. Why didn't Switzerland approve the AstraZeneca jab?

Generally speaking, all medicines are banned until they are approved. A good example is the drug metaformin which was not approved for use in the U.S. until 1994 which is insane considering how important it was in the U.S. for treating diabetes. Metaformin was banned in the U.S. for decades because no drug company wanted to pay for the insane costs for testing a new drug.

Sometimes government ban drugs for political and bureaucratic reasons - not for public safety reasons.

Odd that the news report doesn't say that it was 'unbanned'. Still- the vaccine is gaining approvals over time. It's good that there's another alternate vaccine available!
