Many people don't realize how many people disappear. And not just run away, get lost, are kidnapped or murdered, etc. There are many, many people who vanish seemingly into thin air. There are people that disappear with absolutely no trace, and often the circumstances of these cases don't seem to make any sense. A lot of these disappearance apparently take place in America's National Parks.
I just come across this information and was shocked by the number of people that seem to vanish without a trace, and how many disappear from National Parks. I wanted to pass this information on. It's pretty spooky actually.
David Paulides has written a series of books on this subject called Missing 411.
There are also a number of interviews with David Paulides on youtube where he discusses the statistics and some of the spookiest cases.
