The mess in Venezuela isn't because of socialism . It's because of government incompetence, which happens every where in countries all over the world , including America .
As Bernie Sanders has pointed out , America is becoming just as impoverished as communist countries were through CAPITALISM .

China is a bastion of human rights violations. And aside from that, they've had to incorporate market principles into their economy because socialism and communism do not work. Are you really trying to defend communist China where tens of millions of people have been killed by the government?
