Many Gentiles did become Jews , like Hagar , Ruth and like Cornelius !!
Notice that in Rom 2:26 it reads , Therefore , if the UN-circumcision ( Cornelius ) should keep the righteous of the Law , will not his Un-circumcision be counted for Circumcision ??
To be save under the LAW of Moses it is SACRIFICE plus FAITH !!
Check out Heb 11:1-40 , it is by FAITH !!
Faith is when they did what instructed them to DO !!
Cornelius acts became a memorial to God !!
And verse 10:10-15 that these animals were just as UNCLEAN as were the Gentiles and were not even to be FRIENDS !!
God was letting Peter know that the Gentiles were now clean !!
Cornelius was given the Holy Spirit as happened in Acts 2:4 and that is what happened in Acts 10:45 -48 , and we know from verse 47 that Water Baptism was still in effect !!
Has any one noticed that Cornelius was baptized in the NAME OF THE LORD < and what happened to be Baptized in the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit as they were commanded in Matt 28:19 ?
There are verbs in Acts 2:26 and the first one is KEEP / PHYLOSSO and is in the PRESENT TENSE and Cornelius was doing it continually !!
The other verb is BE COUNTED / LOGIZOMI is in the Greek Future tense and I believe it is a NEAR VIEW and that explains Cornelius !!
T believe that the FAR VIEW will happen when the Gentiles that help the Jews and protect them during the GREAT TRIBULATION !!
