[Secret Service Can’t Find Tons Of Its Guns, Phones, Badges And Cars The Daily Caller] "Thousands of sensitive assets belonging to U.S. Secret Service agents, including firearms, computer laptops, work badges, telephones and even motor vehicles, have been lost during the past 15 years, according to documents obtained by nonprofit government watchdog Judicial Watch.

“This is supposedly an elite law enforcement agency — how did all this equipment get stolen?” or lost. “This is alarming. Every American should be alarmed about this,”Judicial Watch’s Irene Garcia told The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Secret Service agents reported 11,780 lost or stolen assets between fiscal years 2001 and 2016, according to the data Judicial Watch received, although the agency didn’t distinguish between lost and stolen items.

A total of 121 “weapons/pistols” were lost or stolen from 2001 through 2016, including 69 in 2002 alone. The Secret Service also reported 736 cell phones, 571 badges and six vehicles as lost or stolen in that same period.

But uncategorized or “all remaining” assets account for 4,644 of the 11,780 lost or stolen items. More assets were lost or stolen in fiscal year 2004 than any other year — 1,362, most of which were uncategorized..." I have never trusted Homeland Security. I believe they think they are above the law, and have entirely too much authority and leeway than a government program ought to have. One's primary concern should be about their discouragement of citizens securing themselves- if a secret group out there is jacking their stuff, it's probably a group that wants to hurt them, not infiltrate them to exploit their privilege and access.
Why should I have qualms with that

And if I'm dead by next week, let it not be a mystery why
:chuckle:

There's one major problem with your OP: it's misleading.

It says "Secret Service Agents" when in fact the JW article just says "Secret Service".

The US Secret Service has several ranks other than that of Special Agent (Uniformed Division, Special Officer), so the loss of that equipment over a 15 year period by thousands of employees doesn't seem that scandalous.

Perhaps you have more information from websites like Alex Jones' Info Wars to make your case....loonier?

Eve did it (Ge 3:12). :dizzy:

Eve did it (Ge 3:12). :dizzy:

As of 2010, the Service had over 6,500 employees: 3,200 Special Agents, 1,300 Uniformed Division Officers, and 2,000 technical and administrative employees.

The loss of 11,000+ items over a 15 year period is hardly excessive for an agency of that size. Let's not forget that we're talking about an agency that has offices all over the world and that many of their duties involve travel (it's easier to lose/have things stolen while traveling).

Losing one's soap or toothpaste is a bit different than losing one's badge or weapon. :plain:

You need to read your own articles better. It didn't differentiate between the items being lost or stolen.
These secret service employees who are working in foreign countries could have had their badges stolen off of their nightstand in a hotel room, etc.

I know that you Alex Jones types literally hate law enforcement and try to dig up any dirt on them when you can, but try to be objective here.

 Whether lost or stolen--no longer being in possession of one’s badge or weapon is
a problem. :plain:

We're talking about over a 15 year period.

Back to the drawing board: surely there must be some other anti law enforcement articles that you Inforwars nutcases can post that have at least some validity to them?

Now that you mention it, perhaps law enforcement officers could actually enforce the law. 2 Thess. 2:7, 8
