When Biden sanctioned Russia the dollar-ruble exchange rate was 80 rubles to the dollar. A week later it was valued at 150 rubles to the dollar. Then the Russians responded with their own moves by linking the ruble to gold and saying if anyone was to buy energy from them they would have to pay in rubles.
I predicted the ruble would increase in value and the dollar would fall in value. Today the ruble exchange rate vs the dollar is 68 to 1. That is a 2.2 times increase in the value of the ruble against the dollar compared to its low, and a 20% increase in value compared to the value of the ruble compared to its pre-invasion value and Biden's attempt to destroy it.
Why is this? It's a story that requires us to go back decades to understand. The best background I know of for understanding what has happened is G. Edward Griffin's book The Creature From Jekyll Island and how the Fed has worked over the decades to rob both US citizens and other nations at the same time under the auspices of the Treasury department. What they did was trap nation after nation in debt they could never hope to repay and then when they defaulted on that debt make the US taxpayer cover the debt as the loans were guaranteed by the Treasury department.
Think about this scam. The Fed would loan out money that cost them nothing to create and then require interest on those loans. When the loan went into default they had the Treasury department to pay off the debt which means we the people had to pay it off for the government has no money except for what it can get out of our wallets. A perfect ripoff. No way for the Fed to lose on money they created out of thin air. And our Congress created the entire system of stealing from we the people and the nations around the world.
As nations around the world lost their sovereignty and independence to this financial warfare conducted by the US they lost all trust and respect for the US government. And to make a long story short this brings us to today's world in which only 30 nations would cooperate with the US in sanctioning Russia and 160+ nations said no way and have sided with Russia. And those who have cooperated with the US have done so because of the threat of debt hanging over their heads.
