"for many"-Matthew 26:28 KJV

Matthew 20:28 KJV Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Mark 10:45 KJV For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Oooops!!! Looks like you are not one of "the elect"-"for many!!!"

Wait...

Vs.

1 Timothy 2:6 KJV Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

=Biblical idiots, who think/assert that all of the scripture is about them specifically, and written to them, for their obedience/doctrine.

This also means that forgiveness of sins is Salvation, because remission of sins and forgiveness of sins are the exact same thing. Both are the greek word aphesis which means:
a sending away, a letting go, a release, pardon, complete forgiveness.

ἄφεσις ἁμαρτιῶν forgiveness, pardon, of sins (properly, the letting them go, as if they had not been committed (see at length Trench, § xxxiii.)), remission of their penalty:

This is Salvation!

Its not the result of believing, or repentance, but of Christ shedding His Blood for Many Matt 26:28!

It might serve as some theoretical 'salvation' ;) But you know, you still have to forgive others, IF you want to be forgiven. Does that factor into your salvation? - also, on a practical level, you still have to 'repent', to have a transformation of soul, a renewed mind, a re-turning to God. Would you agree? At the end of the day,....a real atonement, would be turning from wrong and doing right. For this there are no substitutes,...but you can entertain a 'conceptual' or 'theoritical' salvation if you like ;)

Amen Brother! Salvation is solely by Christ's Blood!

And those "many" He shed His Blood for were chosen in Him Eph. 1:4-7, to have remission / forgiveness of sins without them doing anything, but solely because He shed His Blood for them!

No sin was ever charged to them, but charged to Christ in their stead, and His Righteousness imputed to them.

Rom. 4:6-8

6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

They are Blessed indeed!

No. The truth of forgiveness of sins is contained in the gospel which sinners have to hear and believe to receive. Calvinists make the cross automatic which is ridiculous. Paul said we have to fight the good fight of faith. Jesus gave that parable of the sower with two groups of believers who 'fell away' because of persecution, riches and the cares of this world. Conversion is just the beginning of our walk with Christ not the end. Converted sinners or babes in Christ have to grow up into maturity and many never reach maturity like you.

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame Heb. 6:4-6

Remission of sins is Salvation!

"To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins"
(Acts 10:43).

Of course no one has his sins forgiven and is therefore saved until he believes, as witnessed by the following answer given by Paul and those with him:

"And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house" (Acts 16:30-31).

"And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day" (Ro.6:40).

Those scriptures are true, but what is the relevance of you quoting them?

As shown earlier, remission or forgiveness of sins means:

ἄφεσις ἁμαρτιῶν forgiveness, pardon, of sins (properly, the letting them go, as if they had not been committed (see at length Trench, § xxxiii.)), remission of their penalty:

Notice, its the remission of the penalty for their sins, which is what ? Rom 6:23

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So the death which they owed to the Law and Justice of Gods law for sinning, that penalty has been remitted, its now before the Law and Justice of God as if they never had sinned, that's Salvation !

All for whom it applies, God sends a Message to them to this wise Acts 13:38

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

The word preached
kataggelló means to:

I declare openly, proclaim, preach, laud, celebrate.

It means to make known, to make known a fact, which fact is the forgiveness of their sins through Jesus Christ, which is their Good News of Salvation Eph 1:13 !

Amen Brother, yes this knowledge of their Salvation was preached directly to them which absolutely have it through Christ: The remnant of His Inheritance Micah 7:18, The Spiritual Seed of Abraham Gal. 3:16, 29, the Election of Grace Rom. 11:5, Chosen in Christ to have remission of sins Eph. 1:4-7. For them Salvation is a New Covenant Blessing in Christ their Surety Heb. 7:22 who fulfilled all the conditions on their behalf Acts 13:26.

In agreement with Gospel writer John Johnson i quote:

Remission of sins is to be considered; as it is the legal aquittance in the court of Gods Justice; or the judicial sentence, whereby the sinner is pronounced righteous, his person justified, his sins remitted, and himself acquitted from all indictment, charge, guilt or condemnation in the sight of God;which is consequence of Full Atonement.

Remission/Forgiveness of Sins is a Gospel of Gods Grace Truth that should be preached !

Lk 24:47

And that repentance andremission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Acts 13:38

Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:

This is not something being offered or made available to these beig preached to, but a thing being declared to them or made known to them, a thing done already for them. And How ? It was through Christ's shedding His Blood for them Matt 26:28

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Its according to the richs of Gods Grace through Christ's Redemptive Death Eph 1:7

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Col 1:14

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
