It would probably have been wise of the youth pastor to submit this to the senior pastor or elders (mature ministries...sometimes youth have more zeal than knowledge).
Are you in a Pentecostal/charismatic church that is open to gifts of the spirit (word of knowledge/wisdom) or simply hearing God's voice in prayer?
Is it necessary to have a divine revelation where to go? We could go anywhere and preach the Word and be in His will. What networking was done to support local ministries? Or were you parachuting in out of the blue (less effective)?
