Obviously it bothers you to have someone look at Calvinism under the scope of reason and logic. Your suggestion is that we can’t look at Calvinism critically because we are looking at it from “man’s vantage-point” is a self-defeating actualization because Calvinism is from man’s vantage-point … reasoning out the attributes of God.

If you want to say that we return solely to scripture and cannot make any conclusions about God based on any rationalization, then Calvinism quickly falls apart. The Reformed Theology entertains certain passage about God declaring that they are nothing more than metaphors and can’t really be addressing the true God. Other passages (that some could argue are situational) they say prove God’s “Immutability” (a word and drawn out concept that does not appear in the Bible).

Obviously Calvinism is built on the reasoning and rationalization by men (no matter how weak) of God’s word and how it will apply to a theological worldview, therefore it is not inconsistent for us to test whether that logic and reason holds mustard.
