As many of you may have noticed TOL went under a MAJOR reconstruction over the past few days.

Currently I am still hammering out the details of our revamped and upgraded software.

Many of the changes are "behind the scenes". Other changes will be very noticeable. And yet still more changes are not available yet.

One major change will effect old links within posts at TOL. In fixing a mistake made long ago which effected many TOL scripts we now have renamed our forums directory "forums" instead of vbulletin". This change helps TOL run more smoothly but will render links useless with the outdated directory name. We apologize for that inconvenience.

Some totally new or revamped features are:

(Located under the "Site Features" pull down menu on the home page.

TOL for AvantGo or other wireless devices.

Another neat feature is the Personal user menu located under your user login screen on the TOL home page.

Yes.

The change only effects links to posts within other posts.

Sadly... the shoubox is the first thing to get abused by knuckle-heads.

That's why it was converted to "subscribers only".

Have a question though. I have an LCD monitor which the native resolution is 1280 x 1024. I have the DPI adjusted to see things better and it's been working fine for me for the most part. However, it seems the font size was changed permanently though. It's very small for me and changing the text size in my browser won't work to increase it. Any input, anybody?

Hmmm strange... I didn't change any font stuff.

I don't see any difference with the font size SOTK. Maybe you need glasses?

It's the font size that has to do with posts. Also, font size under "active" is extremely small. The menu font size has remained the same (Home, Register, Forums, profile, etc.). It's just basically the font size that has to do with people's posts. Like I said, it's been fine until the upgrading! Noticed the change in text/font size last night when I got home.

Hey, Lucky. I'm at work right now so I can't do any experimenting. The monitors at work are at normal resolutions (800 x 600). I'll check your posts when I get home tonight and see how they look.
