Omniscience, omnipotent ideas are humanity’s liability avoiding tactics.
When preaching repentance we are repulsed by people Christians, Hindus and Muslims citing omnipotent idea of God. They say “Since God is omnipotent we can’t do anything against Him. So all we do is willed by Him. Therefore He is ultimately responsible for them, not us.” Poor people especially Muslims procreate uncared sickly children by uncontrolled sex, often becoming antisocial. They support their irresponsibility by “it is willed by God as we can’t do anything against omnipotent God”. Our effort to convince them by arguments fails. Criminals argue similarly.
For that Buddha tried to do away with the idea of God but failed. Atheists are also driven by similar reason. They also fail. Certainly there is God and gods, but never omnipotent, omniscient etc. all impossible absolute terms.
Real Uncaused Cause(God) is the Law of Love binding together everything. It, in the lower material form of gravitation draws Bosons together creating atoms. These in turn is drawn together making the material world. But every atom is separated from another by its repulsing electrons.
In the higher spiritual sphere it creates spiritual beings by drawing together spiritual particles like Bosons. These are united to create souls, angels/gods. Unities of saints, angels/gods are paradises. Their unity is God (see signature-God is the unity of heavenly parents) controlling the creation. But like electrons a wall of separation (pride) separates each spiritual particle, souls and soul societies from each other. When it gets strong enough it breaks those apart-- paradises, civilizations, nations, societies, souls etc. Neither the supreme Law of love, nor its created God can overcome them from outside. If that entity by its free will chooses; it can control itself and seek God’s help. For that repentance is needed.
So, God is not omnipotent or omniscient here. We can’t know “why’ now here, but may be in eternity where we may see the greater picture. So we must discard the injurious self-contradictory idea of omnipotence, omniscient etc. to conform to reality.
