For the record, the other thread is mis-titled at the behest of a fool, er Fool.
We go to doctors when wisdom dictates. I had knee surgery last summer.
And we ended up in the emergency room three times in the last year with our boys and various things that needed to be sewn up.
As a general rule, we would never go to a hospital to have a baby. Having a baby is not a sickness or a disease. Why go to where the most germs and sicknesses are in your whole city to have your baby and expose them to that? There are legitimate reasons to go to a hospital to have a baby, but not many.
We have 2 or three midwives running around the house during the birth.
I do not think homebirth without a mid-wife is wise, though, anecdotally, I know it has worked for one or two people here. Also, we do not condemn those who choose to have their babies at a hospital.
Fool:loser: is ignorant and stupid and going to Hell to be with all the other selfish soul mates who hate the One True God and like to do things like murder, rape, molest children, read pornography, kidnap, steal, commit adultry and abortion, etc., etc.
I would condemn Fool, but he is condemned already.
