Here's the real message of the so-called Migrant crisis.
Millions of Muslims in Syria have no desire to live under ISIS rule. Instead they are risking their lives to try to make it to live in Europe.

The migrant crisis alone should tell the world that the majority of Muslims want nothing to do with extremists like ISIS. And simultaneously it takes power away from ISIS by destroying their narrative of a caliphate that faithful muslims should join. The world should accept more of these migrants and take the power away from ISIS by removing people for them to oppress.

The majority of Sunni Muslims who oppose President Bashar Assad's regime also reject the ISIS hard-line ideology. No amount of propaganda videos can counter the image of desperate Syrian families on the move with their children, willing to sacrifice everything on the gamble for a better future in Europe. More than 4 million Syrians have fled the country since the war began in 2011 and nearly 8 million are displaced inside the country. Together, these 12 million Syrians account for more than half of the country's prewar population of about 23 million." |
