Just like the Orlando Mohammedan's 911 call transcript was to be scrubbed of any reference to jihad but now will have his mentiones of Allah replaced with 'God' (to show he's just like you bitter clingers) ABC News tries this.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/fullpage/u...le-genital-mutilation-undergroundfgm-31808869

The article is short. Note what ISN'T mentioned anywhere, coupled with this lie:

FGM is often associated with Africa and some communities in the Middle East, Asia and South America. The origins of FGM are unclear. But experts say the ancient practice is not officially linked to religion in any way. It’s done for a variety of reasons, with supporters saying it carries on tradition, protects a woman’s honor and ensures she will stay a virgin until marriage. In some places a woman can’t get married unless she has undergone the procedure.

ABC also did not allow comments on the previw page for this article even though there are comments for the ones above and below it.

Which religion would you associate it with? It's a common practice in a number of countries where both Islam and Christianity are the predominant religions, despite not being an official part of either faith. It's not practiced in large numbers in the largest or most central countries for either religion. If there's a religious element to it, it's probably the common shared distrust that both Christianity and Islam have of female sexuality.
