LOOK AT HEBREWS 1:14 !

Hebrews 1:14 reads Are they not all ministering spirits , sent forth to minister for them who shall be HEIRS of SALVATION ?

Are we saved by GRACE ? by Rom 10:9 and 10 ?

Or saved by reading Moses , 2 Cor 3: 15-18 ?

Who then is saved , by being HEIRS of SALVATION ??

I wonder where CALVINISM fits some where , NAAAAAA

I don't know where you got this idea, but it isn't from the Bible.

The entire tribe of Levi was elected to be God's priests FOREVER.

Yet most of them rebelled against God, even though they were His chosen priests, and died in their rebellion.

Mary, the mother of Jesus, was CHOSEN (elected) to be Jesus' earthly mother. But she wasn't guaranteed salvation because of it. She had to keep the law of Moses just like the rest of Israel.

Elect doesn't mean "chosen for salvation." It simply, as in modern times, means chosen for a purpose or task, and those, especially in the Bible, who were chosen were NOT EVER guaranteed salvation as part of their election.

I recommend you listen to yesterday's BEL episode, which talks about this (somewhat tongue in cheek regarding the election of the president here in the US).

Hi and just found 2 verses that speak to this issue !

Matt 19:29 and if you do it Jesus name sake , shall INHERIT EVERLASTING LIFE !

And in Matt 25:34 reads ,, INHERIT THE KINGDOM PREPARED FOR YOU from the foundation of the world !!

It seem obviously , it is speaking to Israel !!

I do not see the BODY OF CHRIST here at ALL and from verse 46 , those that enter this KINGDOM enter into LIFE ETERNAL !!

IMCO:
Accepting Christ in true faith is a sign the sinner is already elect since the time before the foundation of the world...it is not the cause of his election while a sinner.

John 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. When did they reject faith and become condemned...already.
