London murder rate passes NYC's as stabbings surge

London overtook New York in murders for the first time in modern history in February as the capital endured a dramatic surge in knife crime.


Fifteen people were murdered in the capital, against 14 in New York. Both cities have almost exactly the same population.


London murders for March are also likely to exceed or equal New York’s. By late last night there had been 22 killings in the capital, according to the Metropolitan police, against 21 in the US city.

I saw this same article on Breitbart this morning. Was thinking about posting it but got distracted with other news so you beat me to posting this. You know the conclusion we must draw from this don't you? Guns in the US are the sole cause of murders and violence.... :chuckle: Oh, and violence, more Islamists, and open borders, aren't even correlated, let alone directly linked.

As a woman, and now an elderly woman, I wouldn't stand a chance against attackers with a knife.

Kinda blows the entire theory that people need a particular weapon to murder others now doesn’t it? Liberals don’t want to admit that it is people problem not a gun problem or a knife problem or a .......

Murder is in the heart not in the tool used to commit the act.

Very good.

The only thing in his speech that I would differ on would be when he said he would turn in his guns if a law was passed for all citizens to turn in their guns.
Although his statement on that may have been a hypothetical scenario to make the point that criminals and gang members will NOT do the same, and therefore leave law abiding citizens at risk every day.
