Most teachers say that discipline is inconsistent or inadequate, and that suspension numbers have dropped at least in part because of bad behavior that is tolerated or underreported.

I got paddled on the second-floor balcony by the coach every time I was sentenced to serve detention after school for some infraction because football players could not serve time in detention during football season. Going to detention after school interfered with football practice so there was no other alternative. Nobody at that time considered paddlings wrong, and I don't consider them wrong today. I paddled all 8 of my kids when they needed it as they were growing up, and often used the paddle my dad had gotten from his fraternity in college.

The Bible teaches that failing to discipline a child risks promoting life-long rebellion in the kid.

Leftists, socialists, communists, secularists, and atheists despise the Bible and God's admonition for disciplining children while they are still young. Here is what America has to deal with because of leftist rejection of God's word:

A principal at a Dorchester school was beaten so badly she had to be taken to a city hospital with what police called serious injuries after being knocked unconscious.

A teenager is being charged with assault after police said they arrived at the Dr. William W. Henderson Inclusion School around 2:30 Wednesday and saw “an adult female victim over the age of 60 unconscious on the ground being tended to by staff members.”

Superintendent Brenda Cassellius said Principal Patricia Lampron and another staffer were attacked in a “disturbing and completely unacceptable” assault. Cassellius added in a statement to the Dot school community that support teams will be dispatched to help with the aftermath.

The 16-year-old female suspect was arrested on scene and will appear in Dorchester Juvenile Court Thursday on charges of assault and battery on a person over 60, assault and battery causing serious injury and two counts of A&B on a public employee. Juvenile court proceedings are closed to the public.
