From what contact I've had with liberal Christians on the internet, it seems that they ignore the Bible in favor of accomodating people. On one board I used to go to (which wasn't Christian) everyone seemed to love the liberal Christians and would say that they were the real examples of Christianity. Why? Because they told them what they wanted to hear, even if the Bible said the exact opposite.
