The extreme lefties like Obama are very skilled with language. They believe that manipulation of terms alters the reality of the situation.
Case in point: Men and women cross our borders illegally from Mexico. They were originally classified as what they are: ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS. The Left wasn't happy with this. It victimized the criminals unfairly. Solution? Manipulation of language..."Let's call them UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS!" This clever tactic emphasizes the (questionable) work the immigrants are doing and minimizes the criminal nature of the act.
Workplace violence? Sounds much prettier and shinier than terrorism, doesn't it? Maybe the "lazy" American people will buy this load of idiocy with a bow on top, but I have more faith that people will wake up and smell the reality of the idiot who sits in the White House.
