The elect are identified by their hope. I.D. the hope, and you've determined to which gospel they belong. The Twelve shared the same hope as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (to dwell in their Land and to righteously govern and bless the earth and the righteous nations). Paul, however, taught about a different hope, a different destination, a heavenly hope, being co-seated with Christ (Eph 1:20 2:6). Consider the fact that elect Israel is described (in the future) as sitting on Christ's throne. Note that seats of authority are delegated in scripture. Christ sits in the Father's throne, and David/Israel sits on Christ's throne. So, while Israel is said to occupy Christ's throne, the Body of Christ is described as sitting with Christ upon the Father's throne. This further delineates the distinctions between the hope of Israel (the kingdom gospel, the circumcision gospel) and the hope of the Body of Christ (the Mystery, the uncircumcision gospel) Gal. 2:7.
