It is shameful that the open theist Bible has been so carved up that it no longer has Acts 15:15 wherein Paul persuades the people not to worship them by stating that they are men "with like passions." In other words, God to whom alone worship is due does not have "like passions."

I suppose you are referring to Acts 14:15?

The word is “homoiopatheis” and it means to have a similar suffering or similar nature. In fact, most translations will translate this passage

“We are also men of the same nature as you …” (New American Standard)
“We also are [only] human beings, of nature like your own…” (Amplified)
“We too are only men, human like you…” (NIV)

Clearly we Open Viewers agree that God does not have a human nature. And assuredly if you don’t even bother to understand what is being said in your Bible then you are going to take a the word “passions” and run like the dickens with it, even if it looses the original context the way you are trying to use it.

The entire Bible records the passions of God. How silly it is to argue that God has no passion when the Bible says God loves! God is grieved according to the Scriptures. The Bible records God is jealous, angry and vengeful at times.

Yet how does the Calvinist miss it? Could it be because they have given allegiance to their theology first, and the Bible second?
