Do you think Israel's response is justified?

Yes.

It is a reasonable and measured response to seize the rocket launch areas used to strike you territory. Israel should not let its civilians continue to be terrorized.

Naturally, there will be battles to take those areas, and unfortunately civilians are going to get killed in the cross-fire. Hamas obviously doesn't care about its civilian population anymore than it cares about the Israeli civilian population. The Israeli civilians are legitimate targets to them, and their own people are merely tools of martyrdom.

I pray they hit them hard and fast, and decisively. There will not be peace until one side decisively militarily defeats the other. Treaties only work after something like that happens. Until a decisive military defeat, treaties and pacts and most diplomacy are useless.
