Scumbag got the mandatory 25-life but this judge, also a scumbag, decided to give him only 10 years.

The scumbag judge's reasoning? The other scumbag "did not appear to consciously intend to harm (the victim) when he sexually assaulted her," so the mandatory sentence would constitute cruel and unusual punishment.

This is why we need MANDATORY death penalty in all rape and first degree murder cases in all 50 states. And not put them on death row for 60 years until we put them to sleep like an aging pet. We need a real death penalty like stoning.
