Easter Sunday over
2,000 Years ago and counting.
That Jesus would be dying, being tortured
And beaten. For both you and me.
Because He saved us, from doing that.
And saved us, because we didn't
Deserve to be saved. Despite Him
Being sinless and perfect. For we weren't and still aren't.
But isn't it wonderful He did that.
In order to spare us, the same kind of torture, mocking, and death that, He faced.
Just for you and me!

Jesus came for you and
Me when that first sin of Adam
And Eve in that garden.
Was being committed and that
God felt that, we didn't.
Need to die for our sins
Since we were sinful and
Since that we weren't perfect.
But Jesus was perfect and sinless.
Yet died for us!

Jesus didn't stay dead, bear in mind.
Because He rose, so that
We can rise again. When
We accept Him as Savior & Lord.
Into heaven and with Him.
He paved the way for
Me and you, bear in mind.
Because we weren't meant
To stay dead!
