I think this entire chapter is one of the most important chapters in the Bible as it teaches pure righteousness by faith (RxF).
Knowing God is eternal life. Thus salvation is relational. We must have a personal relationship with God or we will not, can not, be saved.
The entire rest of the chapter is dedicated to knowing and loving God.
Is your life filled with jot? If it is you have evidence that God is dwelling within you. If you are willing to die so others can ber saved then you know that the HS lives within you.
Do you love your fellow man the way Jesus did? Are you willing to die for them? He did that for us so if He is dwelling within us we will manifest the same attitude towards others. Are you on your way to becoming perfect like Jesus, for God's love is perfection?

Do you love your fellow man the way Jesus did? Are you willing to die for them? He did that for us so if He is dwelling within us we will manifest the same attitude towards others. Are you on your way to becoming perfect like Jesus, for God's love is perfection?
