ECT Jesus Christ came on the same platform of innocence as Adam and did not fail

Suppose Adam by his obedience, had transformed his natural life, into a spiritual one as God intended it to become, that God would have glorified him as He did Jesus, what do you believe would have happened to: 1. his progeny? 2. his posterity? 3. Eve? 4. Satan?

While both came on the scene on the same plane, i.e., innocent, Adam, in his innocent state, had no scriptures to teach him. What he did have was complete access to the "glory of God". Jesus, on the otherhand, had nothing but the scriptures to point Him in the direction of God: "Therefore the Lord [the Word of God] himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good. For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good, . . . . ." Isaiah 7:14-16 (KJV)

Can you see how Adam and Jesus while both having an intimate relationship with God, only one had His indwelling Life which, had He not, the outcome might have been "everlastingly" different. Again: Heb 6:4-6 gives us a hint as to how bad it would have been.

Yes, it probably could have. We'll never know. The Bible is ruthlessly realistic, only dealing with what actually took place.

"What do you mean the Bible is fairy tales? There's all the lies, deception, murder, adultery, megalomaniac dictators, etc., that we see every day!" --filmmaker Alfred Hitchcock
