Yada, yada, yada. Let's all have a "David and Jonathan" ceremony here--it doesn't matter that it's a blasphemy and abomination, and it doesn't matter that we're helping them on their way to Hell--Dave thinks it's a good idea, so it must be.
To heck with what God says about homosexuality or anyother sin for that matter. Forget that God tells us that sexual sin is not to be tolerated, and that we aren't to be hypocrites or liars because according to the Gospel of Dave it's OK! If you tell people they are sinners then you present a scenario which offers no hope because it's too damned much to expect of them that they might repent of their self-destructive abominations, which aren't sins anymore to begin with.
Let's sing a round or two of "Kumbaya" and all hold hands and take a vote on what God ought to be doing then dash a note off to Him, because He's got it all wrong. Read the Epistles of Dave and Flogger. Lord, how dare You tell us that something we want to do is wrong. And while we're at it, those words you keep using like "vile" and "abomination." Those aren't very kind, God. And about this whole "Hell" business....is that any way for a loving God to act?
Toss individual accountability to the winds because if someone else kills himself his blood is no longer on his own hands, it's on your hands for disapproving of his behavior, and God's for filling your head with such foolish notions. If someone rejects the truth of God he no longer goes to hell, you do, because you failed to put the right spin on it. So grab a seat and and turn in your hymnals to page 198--the men's choir will lead the praise service in the YMCA song, as soon as they shake the wrinkles out of their tutus. Welcome to the Dispensation of Dave.
