He began by Pat Roberson, not a problem for me as I don't care for Pat Roberson either, but it is the fact that the media can blast Christians on a daily basis, openly without any reservations or holding back on their thoughts.
He was making fun of Pats talk to God regarding George Bush.
Then he compared it to Mel Gibson.
He pushed his comments to the edge.
His last statement, "Mel Gibson is a wacko, and the question to Mel is how many millions are you making off the crucifixtion of Christ"
This is so out of line, and uncalled for. Even someone in deep sleep apnea should be able to realize what is going on in the media.
The fact that Mel had to use his own money, go out of the country to make a movie that did not bash Christians and contained the word of Jesus, and then return to this country to be slandered, should wake people up.
Andy Rooney needs to apologize to the Christian community and then remove himself from public view. Christians who continue to remain silent with this daily bashing of Christianity on the media are supporting it.
