If God is at peace with the world then no one needs to be predestinated, nor does anyone need to Join the Catholic church to be saved. If God is a peace with the world it means that all religions are worthless.
Read the following scriptures and decide for yourself.
"God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and has committed unto us the world of reconciliation" 2 Corinthians 5:19
"And having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile ALL THINGS unto himself; by him, I say, whether there be things on the earth or things in heaven" Colossians 1:20.
"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved" John 3:17.
"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the savior of the world" 1 John 4:14.
"And he is a propitiation for our sins: and not ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world" 1 John 2:2.
"That he by the grace of God should taste death for everyone" Hebrews 2:9.
One of the purposes of religion is to reconcile yourself unto God. Calvinist believe that they have been reconciled unto God because they have been predestinated. Problem with that is the scriptures say that Jesus is the justifier, Romans 3:26, not God. God does nothing outside of his Son Jesus Christ. Jesus is the one that overcomes and defeats sin, death and the devil and reconciles us to God, Colossians 2:14, 15. All that Jesus does, he does for us, in our name and on our behalf. He is our justifier and our reconciler.
God is at peace with the world because of the work and the person of Jesus Christ. It was Jesus that offered to God a life of perfect obedience according to God's Holy Law. It was Jesus that atoned for ur sins and the sins of the whole world, 1 John 2:2. God now sees ALL THINGS in his Son Jesus Christ.
Jesus is God's new Adam and our new humanity, 2 Corinthians 5:17.
Does this mean that there will not be a judgment? No, there will be a judgment when Christ returns. It will be a judgment of believers and unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 5:10. Those that are found to be "In Christ" will go off into eternal life. Those that are outside of Christ are the lost and will be condemned to hell. This is the age of grace and faith. When Jesus appears the age of faith and grace will close. That is why today is the day of salvation.
