(PADUCAH, Ky.) -- The heat in Kentucky has been so intense this week that it caused a road in Paducah to buckle.
On Tuesday the pavement buckled along Lone Oak Road, forcing cars to swerve trying to avoid it or go airborne as they passed over it.
The high temperatures caused the concrete to expand and crack.
Crews have temporarily fixed the problem.
