HILSTON: Of course they do. God decreed the death of His Son exclusively for the redemption of the Elect. God decreed the point in time that each Elect person will be regenerated, decreed the circumstances and state of mind that brings the Elect person to a place of considering God's Word, and decreed the subsequent time at which that person desires to repent and embrace the sacrifice that was made in his behalf, all according to God's decrees. After making this choice, the Elect person soon realizes to his awe and wonder and delight and full unwavering security and confidence that God chose him first. And that's how genuine regeneration and conversion happens. All according to God's decree.
Those for whom Christ did not die will either (a) never experience this or (b) experience a counterfeit of it, all by their choice, and all according to God's decree.
