I just read research that suggests forcing lefties to become right-handed tends to be associated with lower IQ, and with neurotic behavior in the child so forced, and that this can persist into adulthood.

It's a very bad idea to try to change a child's preferred hand.

I'm still proud and happy that I came out of the closet. I take it one day at a time. I have met some opposition from stubborn southpaw-phobes who don't agree that I was born a southpaw. They keep telling me to repent of my "wickedness". But my family and friends have supported me to live my life my way.

Not ashamed of being a white veteran of German descent either.
