How they Gentiles obtained Righteousness ?

Rom 9:30

30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, which followed not after righteousness, have attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith.

It was freely given them by imputation. They didnt have to ask for it, seek after it, work for it nor perform any conditions for it. They were among the vessels of mercy Paul had just wrote of earlier in the chapter Vs 23-24

23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

They received it freely, it came upon them because they were of Gods Elect called ones Vs

11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth)

Amen! The Righteousness that God recognizes was freely given, imputed exclusively to the portion of humanity that are His Vessels of Mercy Rom. 9:23, whether jew or Gentile, God's Elect chosen in union with Christ Jesus to have forgiveness of sins Eph. 1:4-7 before the foundation of the world.

2 Tim. 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Did you hear the one about the Calvinist, the Arminian and the Lutheran? The Lutheran and the Arminian put their will power together and body slammed the Calvinist. Then the Lutheran and the Arminian went to the Catholic party and got beat up because their will power was too small.
