How the Gospel Justifies the Ungodly, Romans 4:5

The Gospel is the work that Jesus did in our name and on our behalf. In order for sinful man to be saved God required two things.

1. Every jot and tittle of God's Holy Law must be fulfilled.

2. Every sin must be atoned for.

Jesus, as God's new Adam and humanities new representative has victoriously met these two conditions, Colossians 2:15.

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled" Matthew 5:18.

Jesus is the end and the fulfillment of God's Holy Law. One might say that Jesus is the epitome of God's Holy Law. Paul wrote, "But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets" Romans 3:21. In order for one to do, or to keep God's law they would have to be as righteous as Christ. That is not possible because we are all born after Adam, Romans 5:12.

While Jesus was dying on the cross he said, "It is finished" What he meant when he said that was the law had been fulfilled and he had had atoned for the sins of the world, 1 John 2:2. If Jesus had not atoned for the sins of the world, or if one jot or tittle of the law had not been fulfilled, God would not have accepted Jesus into heaven.

Here is the "Good News". When God accepted Jesus into heaven, we were accepted in him. This is how Jesus has reconciled us and the world unto God.

"God was in Christ, reconciling us and the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation" 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

All that believe and have faith in Christ and his Gospel are complete "In Christ" Colossians 2:10. What you have just read is the "word of reconciliation" the Gospel. In Jesus Christ we have been justified, sanctified, and redeemed, 1 Corinthians 1:30. All that Jesus is and all that he has done is ours by simple child like faith in Christ and his Gospel.

You believe and teach that people Christ died for are going to perish in their sins anyways, that makes Christ death of non effect.

Only unbelievers like yourself that have embraced a false gospel will perish.
So you believe that Christ died for people who are lost and going to perish in their sins. It's evident you don't believe that Christ death alone saved them He died for.!

Jesus has provided salvation for everyone, Hebrews 2:9.

Calvinism is a diversion away from Christ and his Gospel and will result in eternal damnation.

:rotfl: Exaggerated and overly dramatic.

The only ones that will be in heaven are those that have honored God's Son by believing in him.

Calvinist do not believe in him. Jesus claims to be the savior of the world, John 12:47.

Calvinist do not believe him and frequently slander him.

Nonsense. Jesus will yet fulfill the law, he's working on it.

If you look out your window you should notice that heaven and earth have not passed away.
