How long has the press been dishonest

Here is an example of utter dishonesty by the NY Times. It didn't happen a year ago, or 5 years ago, or even 20 years ago. This happened in the 1930s and the NYT would not correct their false reporting for decades. In fact the reporting was proven absolutely false within a short time. But still the NYT continued to cover up genocide by the political left for decade after decade.

It was horrific. If anyone hasn't dug into the Holodomor there are still quite a few pictures of what happened left on the internet. The pictures of entire families starving to death together are not a pleasant thing to see, and to know that our media giants were suppressing the truth ought to anger all of us and cause us to question everything these people say.

There are also stories about how people went insane from the effects of the starvation and watching their families slowly dying. One story told is how a man became so unhinged from listening to his children crying all the time from hunger that he smashed his children's head against the wall, and then murdered his wife.

A recent Gallup poll has revealed some pretty interesting results. Those who keep on telling us that the media is the trustworthy source are in a rapidly shrinking minority.

Confidence in mass media overall remains mired at low levels, as the gap between Republican and Democrat trust reaches an all-time high.

Oh, just one more comment on Malcolm Muggeridge. The press was so corrupt in his day that he became a pariah in journalism. He couldn't find a job for years and had to move his family in with friends as they became homeless and couldn't buy groceries. He finally had to change occupations, just for being honest,
