How Jesus Justifies the Ungodly and Reconciles the World unto God

There is no greater event in human history than the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is a declartion by God the Father that his Son Jesus Christ has, "Spoiled principalities and powers (Satan) and has made a show of them openly, triumph over them in it" Colossians 2:15.

"Jesus is Lord" and he is Lord over ALL THINGS. By his mighty work he has justified the ungodly, Romans 4:5 and has reconciled us and a world of lost sinners unto God, 2 Corinthians 5:18, 19.

Only about 10% of the Christian community believes the Gospel and live their lives according to it. The other 90% don't believe it and continue to remain religious. You cannot say that you believe the Gospel and then continue to be religious or to teach religion. Maybe that is why Jesus said, "And few there be that find it" Matthew 7:14.

Calvinist do NOT believe the Gospel. They do not believe that they have been justified by Jesus Christ, nor do they believe that Jesus has reconciled the world unto God. They believe that they have been saved by being predestinated. There is no scripture anywhere in the Bible about anyone being predestinated to heaven or to hell. The doctrine of predestination is false and makes God unjust.

Catholics do not believe the Gospel that justifies the ungodly and reconciles the world unto God. Many Catholics believe that the Gospel is, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Some believe that it is the grace of Jesus working in their heart that will make them pleasing to God. This is why Paul said, "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23.

Organized religion and the Gospel of Jesus Christ are not compatible. There is to much freedom in the Gospel. The only way that organized religion can exist is by keeping its members under the law. The Gospel frees us from the law and causes us to be led by the Spirit and not the law. The law says do. The Gospel says done. We who believe the Gospel are not trying to be like Jesus (the law) we are resting in the work and the person of Christ, Hebrews 4:10.

Jesus justifies the ungodly by doing for them that which they cannot do for themselves because they are sinners. Sinners cannot please God by what they do. The only thing that pleases God is faith, mainly faith in Christ. This is why the scripture says...

"To him that does NO WORKS, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness" Romans 4:5.

God sees faith as righteousness. Not works.

Absolutely, and reconciled means the problem is solved. The problem of sin, death and satan is solved: reconciled.

Right.

We are reconciled to God by the doing and the dying of Jesus.

God now sees us as perfect and complete "In Christ" Colossians 2:10.

Religious people like Catholics, are trying to reconcile themselves to God by what they do, by what they have become, by who they are.

According to your promotion of the gospel of Paul, not of Jesus. Faith without the works of the Law is akin to a body without the breath of life. If you know what James meant, in James 2:26, he was referring to death. Faith in the dead is as dead as death.

There is nothing Jewish in this text but Jesus himself. What you are doing is using a Jew to promote the gospel of Paul aka the NT.

All who have come to Christ as repentant sinners to be saved by him posses the Holy Spirit, Galatians 3:2.

It is the Holy Spirit working in the life of the believer that will produce good works and the christian life, Ephesians 2:10.

I am sure that is what James meant. Because as Paul said, "By the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in his sight; for by the law is the knowledge of sin" Romans 3:20.

1 - So, why did Jesus die for? Repentance and return to the obedience of God's Law would be enough. (Isaiah 1:18,19)

2 - That's another evidence that Jesus had no need to die on the cross for no one.

3 - Nevertheless, Abraham was justified by the works of the Law. (James 2:21)
