Homeschool Update with HSLDA Senior Counsel Mike Donnelly
This is the show from Tuesday, March 10th, 2020
SUMMARY:
Taking advantage of a Colorado visit by senior counsel for the Home School Legal Defense Association, Bob Enyart interviews in studio Mike Donnelly to get an update of how homeschooling is doing in Colorado, in America, and (with Mike being the director of global outreach), around the world. Last week Mike testified at our state capitol on the immunization bill SB 163 and on HB 1287 which would help families sue the state of Colorado if their rights were violated. Considering homeschooling? Check out hslda.org/quick-start! The guys also discuss the different way that the coronavirus and other infectious diseases typically affect homeschoolers and their slightly diferent perspectives on Christians who teach in our godless public schools. And please help if you possibly can with our March 2020 BEL telethon by clicking here! In addition to our ongoing financial needs to keep reaching more people online and on the radio, our $14,000 disc duplicator just died, so this telethon is even more important than ever!
To help us reach our goal, please consider either purchasing a product, subscribing, or making a donation at our store.kgov.com. We're now up to $4,150 of our $40,000 goal. Thanks so much everyone!
Today's Product: Get out of the Matrix!
Bob takes on a college professor and her philosophy class in a debate regarding absolutes. Who wins? The students have been taught that nothing is absolutely right or wrong, so Bob asks them if that is absolutely right. And they’ve been taught that they can only know that which their five senses have told them, so Bob asks them which of their five senses told them that. Is the lack of intellectualism in this college class representative of American higher education? You can decide as you view this video, one of Bob’s most extraordinary presentations.
