“Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will,” she explained. “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed. As I have said and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century and not just for women but for everyone — and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.”

I'm no fan of Hillary but I interpreted her remarks as pertaining to the treatment of women in places like Africa (cultural) and the Muslim world (Sharia law treating women as 3rd class citizens).

She knows there is no way to alter Islam.

If she is serious then she is deluded. Ideology and belief in first things cannot be altered by PC or postmodernist agendas.

Hillary can put a sock in it. Her agenda is worthless. Abortion is just as abusive as what the Muslims do to women.

uh.. yeh

most women, looking at what an abortion does and looking at what Muslims do to women, would choose the Muslim ways.. but then, i guess it depends on which Muslims you speak of.. jihadists?

Translation of her "argument:" Laws are an imposition of morality, and I support that notion, except when it comes to those who view abortion as immoral/murder, and then spin it, with “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed....the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies," as the Luke 19:14 KJV attitude, reigns in the Jeremiah 17:9 KJV desperately wicked heart of mankind, as they shout, "We will not have this man to reign over us."

Isaiah 5 KJV

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

There seems to be this idea that women actually want to have abortions.
That is so not true. Most of the women who have abortions feel pressured into it.
The real victims here are those women.
