Why don't you read Romans chap. 1 - The just shall live by faith.

Paul was a Jew so you can take his word.

Why don't you read Romans chap. 1 - The just shall live by faith.

Paul was a Jew so you can take his word.
From the Torah we have of the words faith, faithful, and faithfulness, the following.

Numbers 12:7 NASB - "Not so, with My servant Moses, He is faithful in all My household;

The LORD answered Habakkuk,

Habakkuk 2:4 NASB - "Behold, as for the proud one, His soul is not right within him; But the righteous will live by his faith.

Paul wrote to the Romans about the gospel,

Romans 1:17 NASB - For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

He told the Galatians that no one is justified by the Law, for "the righteous man shall live by faith",

Galatians 3:11 NASB - Now that no one is justified by the Law before God is evident; for, "THE RIGHTEOUS MAN SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."

In Hebrews we see the same, here that "My righteous one shall live by faith",

Hebrews 10:38 NASB - BUT MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM.

Any noob can post bible verses but only a Christian believes what they say. Struggling with your faith, Jacob?

I wish that were true, I really do.
It is true. I don't understand why posting about the Torah which is the foundation for the rest of scripture (beginning with the TaNaKh, the Hebrew Bible, but also to include the New Testament such that I mean the entire Bible), and then agreeing with you when you reference Paul's quote of Habakkuk in Romans 1, should raise any red flags for you.

Why don't you read Romans chap. 1 - The just shall live by faith.

Paul was a Jew so you can take his word.

Paul was a Jew who preached to the Gentiles. A Jew whose efforts created untold suffering for Jews over the centuries.

Being a Jew doesn't automatically make one correct about Jewish matters. It would be odd if it did, since we generally disagree with each other about nearly everything.
