Headwaters: Why and How to Illustrate the Bible
This is the show from Wednesday July 1st, 2015
Summary:
Bob Enyart interviews Headwaters Resources co-founder Joe Anderson about the scores of classic black and white Bible illustrations they have colorized to create a powerful tool for teaching today's teenagers Scripture's historical accounts. Why does God reveal Himself to mankind in a narrative fashion rather than by a purely didactic method? Is it true that our children are living in the Bible days? Joe also talks about the colorization process and the work of artist Will Britton, and the Kickstarter project that has almost reached its goal of funding the colorization of another 100 classic illustrations from the 1800s of Gustave Dore's work!
