Have you ever shot another person?

Gun politics is a very popular discussion here at TOL. So it got me thinking. Have you ever actually shot another person?

Anyone who takes an oath to protect the public must be able to use deadly force. No innocent should lose his, or her life because a police officer is not prepared to act.

That is a tough question to answer, who wants to admit shooting anyone? If one was a career police officer, chances are one has shot someone, albeit usually not fatal.

Squeaky ran that person over with a car and he didn't seem to care talking about it. And in that instance I side with him in that it isn't his fault and he should have no guilt. But that is another subject.

At 14 years old I accidentally threw a dart into the forehead

of my sister's boyfriend as he walked into my bedroom door that had a dartboard on it.
