It started nearly 50 years ago when democrats realized the need to pander to blacks for votes. That realization caused the democrat party to swing from segregationists to manipulationists, propagating lies about their republican opponents in order to deceive blacks into thinking republicans are racists who hate blacks. The lies have worked well for democrat politicians and that is why democrats continue the lies.
The problem with the decades of lying leftist racist propaganda is that the lies have created a whole generation of young blacks brainwashed into thinking whites and cops are evil racists out to hurt or kill blacks for no reason. This is doing great damage to America in many ways.
The cop accused of racism in the death of George Flloy was just doing his job and failing to use good sense, contributing to the unfortunate death of Floyd. But the cop was not racist and his sentence for racist behavior is unfair, unjust, and immoral, but leftists demanded the cop be 'beaten with many stripes because of racist allegations against him.
Contrast that with the black cop who beat a white Trump supporter to death with a pipe on Jan 6. There was no outcry because the American group-think mob driven by group-think leftists in the media and in politics do not see black violence against whites as racist or evil. We can thank the democrat party for such insanity in group-think views and values.
