Our system is broken and it's broken, in part, because our Christian leaders have become legal positivists and they have encouraged the legal system to select men and women for office who are amoral, who have no moral commitment but simply will make a commitment to process. And that's what happens when you elevate man's law above God. And, no, we're not a theocracy and I know that Jesus Christ does not sit in the Oval Office and America is not Israel. But none of that means that we get to ignore God when we try to govern our nation. And none of that means that it's acceptable to support politicians or judges who say, "Hey, well I'll kill kids if it's in my job description."
